I. Overview
The Australian Technology and Information Industry Association (ATIIA) awards recognise individuals, teams and companies that have made outstanding contributions in the areas of technology innovation, sustainability and enterprise technology innovation. In order to ensure fairness, transparency and professionalism in the selection of the awards, ATIIA has developed a detailed application process so that candidates and organizations can clearly understand the selection criteria and application steps.
II. Eligibility For Application
1. Individual award eligibility
(1) The applicant should have outstanding research results, innovation ability or industry contribution in the relevant scientific and technological fields.
(2) Applicants are required to submit relevant materials that demonstrate their professional achievements, such as research papers, patents, product cases or industry recognition certificates.
(3) Individual awards may be submitted by the applicant himself or recommended by industry experts, academic institutions or enterprises.
2. Eligibility for enterprise awards
(1) The applicant must be registered in Australia and have made clear scientific and technological innovation achievements or industry contributions within the past year.
(2) Enterprises need to provide relevant certification materials, such as technology research and development reports, market application cases, user feedback, financial performance, etc.
(3) Enterprises can submit their own applications, or recommended by partners and industry associations.
III. Application Materials
All applicants are required to submit complete application materials by the deadline, including but not limited to the following:
1. Basic information
(1) Individual applicant: name, position, research field, research results, contact information
(2) Enterprise applicant: company name, registration information, main business, scientific and technological innovation profile
(3) Award application form: Fill in the application form in detail, including scientific and technological innovation achievements, market influence, industry contribution and other key information
2. Research or technical description
(1) Individual applicants: submit scientific research papers, patent documents, technical research and development reports, etc
(2) Enterprise applicants: submit innovative product introductions, market application cases, user evaluations, etc
3. Supporting materials (optional)
(1) Letters of recommendation: from industry experts, academic institutions, government departments or corporate partners
(2) Relevant awards or certificates
(3) Corporate financial Reports (applicable to corporate awards)
4. Request a declaration
Applicants are required to sign an integrity statement to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the materials submitted.
IV. Application Process
1. Submit the application
Applicants can submit their application online through the ATIIA website, or complete application materials can be submitted by email. The application deadline will be published on ATIIA's official website and related publicity platforms. Late applications will not be accepted.
2. Qualification review
The ATIIA Review Committee will conduct a preliminary review of all submitted applications to ensure that they meet the basic eligibility requirements. Qualification review mainly examines the completeness, authenticity and relevance of application materials.
3. Judging Process The judging process is divided into several stages to ensure the fairness and authority of the award:
(1) Expert Preliminary Review: A jury composed of technology industry experts, academic representatives and corporate executives scored the application materials and selected the shortlist.
(2) Industry evaluation: For enterprise awards, industry data analysis and user feedback surveys may be conducted to verify the market influence and technology value of the enterprise.
(3) Final evaluation: The independent evaluation committee will conduct the final evaluation and select the winners.
(4) Public voting (optional) : Some awards may be open to public voting to increase industry influence, and combined with expert reviews for comprehensive scoring.
4. Results announcement and award
The results of the evaluation will be officially announced on ATIIA's official website, industry media and social platforms. The awards ceremony will be held at an annual technology summit or industry forum, inviting industry leaders, government officials, academic representatives and others to witness the achievements of the winners. Winners will receive trophies, certificates, and may be supported by resources provided by ATIIA, including technology incubation, industry docking, international cooperation opportunities, etc.
V. Precautions
Applicants are required to ensure the authenticity of the submitted materials. If false information is found, they will be disqualified. All application materials will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used for award judging purposes and will not be used for any commercial purposes. The ATIIA Jury reserves the right of final interpretation of the award results. The winners need to agree that ATIIA will publish relevant publicity information on the official website, industry media and other platforms to expand the industry influence of scientific and technological innovation.
